Hope of the Valley is committed to restoring the whole person….spirit, soul and body. No one would argue that our homeless guests need food, clothing, showers, counseling, case management, education, medical care and jobs. The Mission provides these services.

In an attempt to help our homeless guests connect with God, on a spiritual level, taking their eyes off their problems, and looking to God for His strength and support, we have started a non-required optional worship service on Thursday evenings after our community meal.

The inter-denominational worship service provides worship and exhortation from the scriptures to inspire and instruct our guests. Ministers and worship teams from congregations throughout the Valley are leading the service. Instead of taking the homeless to a church, we are bringing the church to the homeless. Currently over 100 homeless attend the service each Thursday evening at 7pm.

“Attending the Thursday night service is the highlight of my week,” says Charles a guest at the Mission. “The music and the message bring peace to my heart and hope that I am not alone on this journey.”

The service is open to the public. Please join us any Thursday evening at 7pm.
